History

The winery  Vineyards and Wines  “Ca sa Padrina” , Vinyes I Vins Ca sa Padrina, was founded in 1999 with the aim of producing and improving  traditional
Majorcan wines. It is located in the village of Sencelles, right in the centre of the island.

Our tradition for wine dates from days gone by, at our grandma’s (hence the name of “Ca sa Padrina”, which means “at grandma’s” in Majorcan) an exquisite wine was already being made, and after some years of inactivity we have reclaimed this tradition, modernizing our facilities and introducing new technologies in order to make our beverages.Pocono Pharmac

The vineyards are set in stony, limestone and clay soil , typical of the centre of the island. It spreads across 12 hectares planted in trellis and is inscribed with D.O Binissalem-Mallorca ( which indicates a guarantee of the origin and quality of the wine).

Ca sa Padrina offers the following varieties of wine: Mantonegro and Callet (indigenous to the island), Merlot, Cabernet and Shyraz to produce the MONTNEGRE and  ROSAT CA SA PADRINA; and Prensal and Chardonnay to make the MOLLET.
